I missed the original listings for these plants but from what I gather they were initially shown out of there pots and the root systems were very poor? Leading some to say that this along with the shape of one or two that they looked habitat collected in the near distant past? As has been mentioned ...

Pretty sure it is E. obesa rather than E symmetrica due to the sharper ribs. E. symmetrica tends to be more globular in shape. My obesas are budding too. I would agree, symmetrica are distinct with regard to the shape of the plant body and number of cyathia produced on a single peduncle. I seem to ...

According to PEACH Private individuals still need to register and for every consignment will need to provide business details of seller if applicable, give details of which port the parcel is arriving at in the UK. Provide a phytosanitary certificate and pay vat on the total cost...

Has anyone gleaned any further information on this subject ? I freely admit I'm still confused by the whole process. I have seen the same situation, specifically an Astrophytum Myriostigma x that was originally listed at £100. It remained unsold after several re listings.
