A rather off the topic here, but what kind of programmes are they? A plants/image database maybe?

Re: EU Plant Passport Scheme

Not necessarily about the EU PP, but feels quite relevant for more local amateur trade - see Scenario 5 here: https://planthealthportal.defra.gov.uk/ ... os-6.0.pdf

Re: Acanthocalycium glaucum

There are other very close species which look pretty similar but with red, orange, or white flowers, all of which are worthwhile plants. Do you have other Acanthocalycium in mind? If I am correct there will be another Mammillaria Society talk on Thursday. I see the details are available in the members area (I am not a member). Will the details also be made public, just like the one in March?

Re: Some Gymnocalyciums

I was just thinking how many pieces your Crassula Mesembryanthemopsis could be cut into! Rather nice and hiding in the background. Stuart I've read some time ago on PlantZAfrica that they propagate easily from leaves, if that's really the case I'm surprised how rare they are, at least in trade, may...

Re: Identification

How exactly sharing a tiny, resized image differ from sharing the original one? Even if you had troubles with rotated photographs, they're much more useful, and can easily be opened in a new page to display correctly, than what you've posted. Re: Need help in Sussex

Real shame, seems they are destined for the compost heap 😪😪 The least effort thing you can do is a collection only eBay auction for a "job lot" of plants. I'm also sure if you give people a little more than 24 hours to react someone will be able to help. I'm not familiar with the area, but there mu...
