You seem to have a preference for the ....
well textured
strongly marked
plump leaf
strongly coloured

Or have I read your preferences wrongly
Hard to disagree with your guesses and Allan's preferences!

Re: Todays photo

Ah, no, what I meant is that one of the parents is 'Kotohime' , and not 'Kotomine' , but maybe my Google-fu failed me here and there is a 'Kotomine' as well? I thought it might be a typo. Hi Mat, I think yours is just Kotomine , whereas Mine is a X but has taken its mothers looks. I am referring he...

Re: Todays photo

I don't mind Mat, it may look like Kotomine but the two plants I crossed to get this were H.Kotomine and Silver Bug. H.Kotomine X silver Bug
Still staying chunky
I hope you don't mind Allan, I think this would be H. "Kotohime'. I think I have that one, and it certainly is quite "chunky" at a little older age, but I'll need to check and confirm this next week.

That makes perfect sense, thanks. Maybe I'll just use the mix they are in now, basically a 1:1:1 of larger moler clay, grit and an ericaceous compost.
