Re: Europarts absorbent granules.
OK after a couple of weeks use, I think this blend retains water or keeps the soil more moist. Has anyone had problems with it in this respect? I cant tell if its just a change in the weather making me water less, but I keep testing for dryness with my finger in the pot, and I'm thinking hmm that's ...

Adenium help please
I have a nice adenium plant in flower. Its new to me. As its in flower, should I feed it? How much light will it need, as I'm thinking I might have to move it. What soil should it be in?

Re: Europarts absorbent granules.
Well I hope I've done the right thing buying 2 bags of the stuff. I suppose time will tell. I have some Christmas cactus cuttings that need potting on soon and I will gauge how it goes with them as they are a plant I'm confident with.

Re: Last waterings
Some of mine MAY have had a last watering. But I m not a one rule for all person. I have only just started watering the lithops. I have a lot of houseplants that receive less frequent, water in winter, but they may be watered. What is in the greenhouse generally won't be watered again.

Re: Europarts absorbent granules.
I've had this for a couple of weeks, using in my potting mix. When I water a plant from the top, there is a slight hiss, as the water hits it. What is this?

Re: schlumbergera Christmas cactus VARIGATED/Aurea
the article goes on to say how the author manipulates daylight time to bring about flowering, using a paper bag. I mostly find mine flower on time. The only time they deviated was when we moved house.

Re: schlumbergera Christmas cactus VARIGATED/Aurea
I would like a varigated one having got many colour varieties of Christmas/Easter cactus. I have copied some info from a site called Daves Garden. I have no skill at inserting pics but will try, then maybe try a link.
