I wonder if someone would be able to help me identify the species of Rebutia in the attached photos (labelled Rebutia 1 and Rebutia 2).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any tips for helping Sulco’s flower/bud? I’m getting good growth but limited flowering.

Appreciate it’s a little late in the season but any tips ahead of overwintering.

I have read in some places about timing of watering after the overwinter.

It’s a Palram greenhouse and they seem pretty flexible in their structure to allow changes.

Might run out of room before though! My collection of Gymno’s is getting there quickly!

Just a 6x6 (currently!) but rapidly running out of room already.

I think I will keep the door open even more.

I have also got a 1kw-2kw heater with fan option. I’m just waiting for an electrician to come round and set up the power points etc so I’ll also have that option to cool and circulate air.

I have just purchased some shade cloth and white wash this evening to give me a couple of options. I believe this is relatively recent burn as I’ve not noticed it prior to this evening.

Yes I have a vent and when the sun weather has been intense I’ve kept the door open for ventilation.

Sorry, yes for clarity, I mean sterilisation for future sowings.

They are still covered so I will uncover and see how these do.

As I say I’ve read up in books and there were suggestions of using a microwave or boiling.

I’ll give the boiling a try.

I hasten to add I read up on sterilisation only after I had sown them!
