Update, I just noticed webbing at the base of the bud, and inside was a tiny green caterpillar!

The G.baldianum that I bought in summer had a big flower bud developing while in the greenhouse, but as it was getting cold I brought indoors. The bud began to open then suddenly it began to wither. Probably too late in the season. When I bought it it had a ring of flower buds but when the large one...

Finally got a Gymno!

Saw this cactus in Wilkos, 3 quid, and wasn't sure what it was. I've been hoping to get a Gymno for years and lo and behold it is one. And it has flower buds!
Now the question is its quite pot bound (what a surprise) but is it too late to repot it?
