Hi, My son has just brought this plant, not one I know of, Looked up the name supplied, not sure where the "Supernova" part comes in to play, if at all. But in the past this supplier did sell him a Mammillaria has a Notocactus scopa, that again had a fancy name N. scopa rubispinus. If you ...

Re: Titanopsis calcarea Majeng form
Hi Iann, Oh! dear Iann you could just be right? it does look more like Nananthus aloides, than the Alonopsis which should have a longer flower stem, where all parts seem to be Yellow. Here's a screen shot from my Database, at lease I got the name right, perhaps the supplier didn't. No matter it's st...

Re: Titanopsis calcarea Majeng form
Hi Iann,
I grow it from seed some years ago! the label says sown 2015, not sure where the seed came from perhaps BCSS or Aiko....
I'll have to take a look on line, or ask others what they think.

Hi,
I too have this ALOINOPSIS ORPENA in flower today, I think it first flowered on Sunday! Just a bit of sunshine on a cold sleety day, as least the Sun's out.

Re: Bubble-wrap insulation
Hi,
Thanks for your reply Chris. But can anyone else add more? 10mm or 25mm Bubbles? And will UV stabelised last any longer, someone must know. Anyone had it last 3 years or more?
Is it worth paying the extra for UV stabelised, in practical terms, or is it a job every 2 years!!

Re: Wi-Fi Thermometer
Hi, Well some of those make my set-up seem a bit simple. I do like the idea of doing it myself with an Arduino or two, but it's having the time!! Can you work this one out! or am I just missing something? This unit has two sensors, put them side by side and there's about 0.2-3 degs out, and when the...
