My friend said, the tissue has the sign of withering in recent days. So he has accepted the idea of grafting that tissue as Tina and Julie suggested. If there's something change in the future, I' ll urge him to post the photos.

Re: Stange tissue of an Euphorbia obsesa
Agreed with jfabiao and Aiko's thought. According to its location, it is possibly to be some sort of offset instead of a pedicel. My friend said, neither agricultural chemical agent nor insecticide was used on the plant. And, it was raised from the seed, never been grafted. And it now is 3 years old...

So he posted those photos on facebook in order to ask someone else. And we were curious and interested of its blooming location and its form. Some kind of monstrou...

Re: Mangave ' Bloodspot '
Hi Nirwa Strictly speaking you still haven't got an agave, you have a hybrid  . Indeed, that's a hybrid. But, in general, it's still an agave. I'm only saying this as I'm suitably jealous with the amazing growth & prettiness you have in such a short time, I have a small plant th...

Re: Prevention of buying illeagal collected cacti
I just thought, a good photo that shows something is much better than thousands of describing words, so I posted this thread. To Dave, quote [ ... Things are often worse in Asia and E. Europe since controls are not so stringent. ] Yes, let's take E. polycephalus as example, it's a very popular speci...
