Throw in another name in the hat; Ferocactus latispinus :-) Well, with the youngster stood between F. Latispinus and S. Coptonogonus ( which seemed to me the likeliest Steno) my inexpert eye tells me the Latispinus is probably the winner - they could almost be father and son! Thanks for the help. P...
