Re: Aloe pictures
Great plants Mike!
For whatever reason I have struggled with sladeniana in the past. Seems like flowering has completely exhausted and a single head I am left with looks very sorry for itself. Do you treat yours as a winter growing plant?

Re: Aloe flowers today
Thanks Mike - the plant looks similar to mine then and distinctively different to the type. Now, an interesting point - according to the book 'The Aloe of Madagascar' by J-B and JP Castillon, the type is rare in the filed and its flowers are described as white-pink, while v aurantiaca being more com...

Could you please post a picture of your A. haworthoides v aurantiaca? I have one as well, but it is very different to the pure A. haworthoide...

Re: Aloe broomii
These are seed raised plants of Aloe broomii var tarkaensis. I have kept 3 differently coloured plants. The light one was the only in the whole batch of that colour.

Thank you for your kind offer, I won't be needing to take you up on it as I have received the response today, everything I ordered is in stock except for the Aloe florenceae.

No worries. As for A florenceae, I might have beaten you up to it

Re: October journal
That's really interesting, but the watercolours were the part that attracted my interest and awe the most as well. I would not mind seeing more of these in the publications going forward
