Re: Gasteria query

Thank you! And good luck with your wooden tortoise! You've had plenty of good advice here. They're not difficult.

Re: Dioscoria Elephantipes

Your plant seems out of kilter. My three always start putting up new vines in the late summer or early autumn. Attached photo was taken August 28th for instance.
If I were re-potting them I would do it during their dormant period which in my case, would be summer.

Re: Aloe perrieri & bellatula?

For what it's worth, these are the flowers on my "A. bellatula". I would say they are bell-shaped. This clone is quite proliferous but not inclined to turn red in summer. BTW, I will have some spare offsets when I re-pot this in a couple of months - if anyone has offsets of "A. perrie...

Aloe delicatifolia

Does anyone grow Aloe delicatifolia? And if so, do you have offsets or "true" seeds (i.e. not open pollination) available to sell or exchange? I have some A. bellatula large offsets to spare and will hopefully have A. albifora at some point (but not right now). Also plenty of pure Gasteria...

Do they still sell it? I have not been able to get in touch with them and the ordering page on their website doesn't work. It would have to be shipped as I am nowhere near them (and we're in lockdown anyway).

Re: pure pumice?

Thanks all for the generous and useful responses. Quite a lot of information to sort through there - I'll check out all the options and, if I think I can contribute more to the thread, I'll post again later.
