This one seems pretty impervious to everything luckily. Its because of its spinyness that it's one of my favorites.
A real beast!
I'll have to take a photo of my saglione, before and after watering, grate the way the spines change color.

That's lovely Christian, it's a real bonus when flowers have a lovely scent, I enter the greenhouse and you know something is flowering before you've even spotted it.

Sinningia leucotricha.
Just finished growing it's new fuzzy leaves, in just a few weeks, these will last nearly a year. the old leaf stem's just fall away in early march. Removing them is quite satisfying.

Echinocereus apachensis . The flower was just starting to close when I snapped it . Please post your Echinocerus flowers, there another one of my faves and would be good to see what's in bloom.

Gymno horridispinum!

This Gymno has been hiding in a sunny spot under a bench. It is huge 40cm tall and flowers well every year. Got it out and dusted of cobwebs and removed some deceased snails.( Giving it a new spot/view in the greenhouse) Its not one I've come across often, it's definitely one of my favorite Gymnos. ...
