Needs plenty of water and doesn’t like high temperatures. Best suited for alpine growers, not a good greenhouse plant but looks great in flower. I think it's good that the issue has been raised in such a thoughtful caring manner, nobody has control over the madness on social media but surely BCSS has control over the moderators?

Its cold at night here, but warms up nicely by the time the sun goes down. The temperature in the unheated bit of the greenhouse was down to 1C last night and up to 15C at the warmest today. I think you can keep them in the same size pot but they really do appreciate fresh soil, not a full strip down but a good bit of new compost. I am slowly changing from pans to deeper pots as I'm sure they seem to grow better, maybe they get hot roots. Utahensis are very slow but there are some slig...
