Re: Conophytum from seed

Sowed my first batch mid febuary and the second mid march. There on a windowsill out of direct sun, I have not put them in my greenhouse as I think it would be too hot.
Iann, how do you get them growing again as mine seem to have stayed the same for a while now.

Re: Cono query

Cheers Iann & Brian. The flower is a lot pinker than in the photo but not a dark pink, I'll leave it to rest for now.

Cono query

Hi everyone. Not posted on here for ages as been a bit busy, have been lurking though. Got a small group of Conos a while back and they all sheathed over and went dormant, this week however I found a C.chrisolum had flowered from one of its 3 heads. Re: No more Tesco Cat Litter???

Hi all. Popped in Clacton tescos and they had one bag left, reduced from £3 to £1.50, the customer service desk scanned it and said they had no more on order. I also, like Iann, saw the Lightweight dust free bags and am pretty sure its the same stuff been repackaged and is now in 10 litre bags.

Re: Stapelia schinzii var. angolensis

I think you may be right Diane, it certainly look similar. The plant seems ok but just wont put on any growth, not taking up any room so will let it decide for itself.

That is a cracking flower Wiebe.

Re: Stapelia schinzii var. angolensis

I was going to ask a question about schinzii. These are 2 plants sown in 2008, the one on the left grew like this last year but has done nothing this year. Do you think it is a stray seed from some other type or just a deformed schinzii. By the way cracking plant Colin
