T alexanderi ‘Fiambala’

Grown from society seed from a few years back. One germinated and produced this monster with 3.5”-4” segments and at last a flower. Anyone else have a plant from this source?

Re: Gymnocalycium ragonesei

It’s odd how Gymnos do this. I have a quellianum with exactly the same problem.

Re: Geohintonia

I was given it four or five years ago so can’t really claim credit for it. I’m pretty sure this is the first time it has flowered since I’ve had it.

Re: Haworthia blackburniae

My blackburniae never flowers but it is in a small pot - makes me wonder if a larger pot is in order.

Re: Puna subterranea incahuasi

Disappointingly neither of mine flowered this year. Hard to pin down what the difference is between this year and last year aside from the greyer skiers and more rain in the past couple of months.

Re: Gymnocalycium ragonesei

So do I but it’s a task stopping them from becoming globular.

Re: Opuntia macrorhiza

Mine is in an unheated greenhouse. The ones I had outside this year were severely sampled by molluscs.

Annoyingly I missed the flowers on this one. One of my best attempts at keeping it flat by not watering it much and giving it good light.

Geohintonia

Found this flowering in the heat this afternoon. To be honest I hadn’t even noticed it had buds…
