Re: Lithops getting ready to flower?
Thanks for replying Catherine. It's definitely the same plant. The leaves there now are the ones that were just coming through in the photo before. It produced those and then another set last year. In my office it is rather warm and bright so I assume the heat at this time of year is the fundamental...

Re: Lithops getting ready to flower?
So this Lithops is up to the same tricks as last year again! It flowered earlier in the year with a flower on one head (which I forgot to take a picture of). I didn't pollinate it or dead head it like last year but the same head is flowering again! PXL_20211125_154933027.jpg If you look in the photo...

Re: Anime
May I ask what lowest safe temperature would be? I keep my outside if it’s above -4C at night but bring them in if it’s getting colder. Mine are kept frost free until I feel they are big enough to stay outside. However I'm not saying they need that and someone much more experienced than me will nee...

Re: Anime
What size are they Aiko? I'd keep them inside, but watered, if they're not big. My largest is in a half barrel and stays outside. The next largest, in a 40cm bowl, is inside but I'm planning for it stay outside from next year onwards. About 7 centimeters wide. Maybe I will bring them in. I still do...

Re: November 2021 - Hardy succulents and cacti
Thanks to those who posted - we seem to be going a bit quiet on here over the last few months! My winner is this Opuntia from Mike. Something that many (outside of our members perhaps) wouldn't dream could stay outside all year and get frosted like this picture shows! Nov 05 1.JPG Was hoping Paul wo...
