Essex Succulent Review now the Cactus and Succulent Review

Hi, First I've renamed the Essex Succulent Review as the Cactus and Succulent Review. Anyone who read my Editor's notes in the last issue will have been expecting this change. The ESR started out as a Branch newsletter for the Essex Branch of what was then the Cactus and Succulent Society of Great B...

The name Essex Succulent Review is distinctive, and I have been dithering around for probably two years wondering whether or not to change it. I did make sure that both Eddy Harris...

Hi,

Anyone can subscribe to eNews, not must BCSS members. There is a place to do so on the BCSS website together with the archived back issues.

Re: September eNews

Hi,

There wasn't an eNews issued in either October or November. I'm afraid I don't yet know when they will start again.

Re: Plant of the month

Hi, For those of you who are not aware of this I organise the Plant of the Month feature, but it is Bill who places the articles on the website. I too have now emailed Bill, and I hope he will be able to sort these problems. Assuming this is possible, we will probably leave the current article up th...

Re: August 2019 - A is for August and.....

Hi,
Whoops - this is too late really, but I thought I would put it up anyway. A is for Anonymous, some sort of Echinopsis hybrid, but I don't know which, although I did wonder if it could be 'Anastasia'. If anyone knows I would love to find out.
