Is it R.marsoneri that gives the earliest Rebutia flowers or is there a Rebutia or even Aylostera that flowers earlier? Mine has had a good show too. I also find Cheiridopsis speciosa to be a reliable flowerer, with a vivid purple flower, quite differnt to C. umbosa.
