Wouldn't it be even stranger if the old leaves had dried up, but last year's flower still showed up now? I've never seen that.

I would go with L. marmorata from what I can see. Some distinguishing features you might want to look for: - L. marmorata tends to be 6-merous, L. optica 5; - L. optica tends to have fairly closed fissures (although obviously open when flowering) and lopsided leaves, L. marmorata more even leaves an...

Or mine are over-potted? I consistently over-estimate the size of this species (or don't water it enough!), although it will clump up nicely in time.

Almost completely lost its pigment, but the pollen is still yellow :) albinica-1008.jpg This L. localis 'Speckled Gold' seems to have even lost a bit of pigment from the flower speckledgold-1008.jpg L. divergens has generally small flowers, but this one is taking it to extremes divergens-1008.jpg
