Does this Gymno look okay
Gymnocalycium pflanzii
I am a bit concerned about this Gymno. One of the heads looks yellowish. Anyone any thoughts please. Its in a very gritty compost and has not been overwatered. .

Re: Coastal succulents UK
Thanks Diane. I did not want to hit the pay button until I made sure all is as it should be. They have some very nice plants on offer and discounted until the end of the month.

Re: October: Mesembs other than Lithops
Thanks Tom. I like them but not many do. I have checked my records; the calvatum was purchased in 2003 from Whitestone gardens UK. The owner had bought it back having sold it years earlier. It was a bit neglected and needed sorting out. It must have been about 10 years old when I bought it so its ov...

Re: Gasteria- A decent garden centre find
Thanks Stuart. I thought it could be Smokey but it will get named Platinum.. Someone must buy them for the Dutch to produce so many. I have noticed whenever you offer the cultivars there's always good bidding on them. I find them interesting plants. Perhaps the size of some of them puts folk off. So...

Gasteria- A decent garden centre find
Picked this up for £4 at a local garden centre. No root mealy bugs on this one. It was in a plastic pot rootbound. Now in a 5 inch clay pot. BTW no plant passport on the original pot so maybe obtained in the UK.
