The sempervivum part shows mostly in the flowers. Other than that, I have to agree, that there are few sempervivum traits.

Re: Succulent winner of Chelsea plant of the year
Thanks for sharing! I can't find much information about this Aeonium 'Jubilee'. I'd assume it has both Zwartkop and Tabuliforme in its parentage.

Re: Mystery props thread
I suspect the plant is Senecio jacobsenii. Which seems to match the description.

This is how a pure simsii should look like. Re: Aeonium smithii goes mad
Your plant is not Aeonium simsii. Not the pure species, but a simsii hybrid.
There's also a high possibility that your plant may die after flowering.

Re: Aeonium smithii goes mad
Yes, a simsii hybrid. I'm guessing Lidii, but I would need to know the flower color. From what I can see, the flower color is yellow, which does not match x lidii, or x sventenii, which are both supposed to have pale whitish yellow flowers.

Re: Aeonium smithii goes mad
I agree with Edds. Not smithii. Smithii has hairy stems, leaves, and flowerstalks. As edds said, there is a possibility that it is a simsii hybrid, but to determine that we would need to see the marginal cilia, as well as any water tubes at the back of the leaves. Most simsii hybrids have distinct w...

Re: May - 2022 Don't hide your hybrids.
Here's an unknown undulatum x Zwartkop hybrid, that I received as "Aeonium Giant purple". It makes all the plants around it look small.
