Re: Small fans for greenhouse/growhouse - advice needed
There's some info in the following link detailing my set up, the Honeywell fan came from Argos because I needed it in a hurry when the old one packed up. It has 3 speed settings. It's good enough to stir up the air in a 8 x10 GH. As with any outdoor electrics, your power supply should be rcd protec...

Re: Small fans for greenhouse/growhouse - advice needed
Thanks Chris. But since these will be my main fans, I probably need something that would work irrespectively of the weather. One of them had a battery back up, it is rather pricey piece.

First flowers - from seed
It is a special moment when your seedling flowers for the first time. This month marks my first cactus raised from seeds coming into flower. Escobaria minima, sown 4 years ago. True miniature - below picture shows number of plants in a 4 cm pot. http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg224/maciasas04/P1...

Re: Dioscorea rupicola - watering
Hi Chris, As a rule of thumb with all dioscorea plants, water when they come into growth, and stop/reduce watering when the leaves dry out. I have sown some last May and kept them in closed humid conditions for the first 6 months. Now I let them dry between watering and 3 out of five still have thei...
