Hi Chris, As a rule of thumb with all dioscorea plants, water when they come into growth, and stop/reduce watering when the leaves dry out. Hi Phil,
I have just bought mine a couple of months ago and it can run all year round with heater kicking in as the temperature drops below the level you set it for. So I guess it does what your used to? I got it from Greenhouse People, who by the way have a 15% until Friday.

For whatever reason I have been struggling with finding any seeds on offer this year. Does anybody know where I could get some from? Or maybe d. mexicana?

I have sown mine just over a week ago! Nothing so far - did you have to wait long for seeds to germinate?
