I've not had any luck with these rooting.

If you are going to trim wait until the stem is in fresh growth, I've had luck with bursera fagaroides rooting so its always worth trying.

Thanks- thats good to know but mine were the original ones, luckily.
Its seriously smelly worse than malathion, I treated on the Monday & it still smelt on the Friday.

Its my hot greenhouse with Euphorbia & others, which gets a splash here & there, they don't like bone dry roots like the cactus house.
