Thelocactus conothelos?
I’ve had this spiny beauty for 7 years and it produced its first flower a few days ago. It is labelled Thelocactus conothelos, but all online info seems to point to conothelos v flavus. Can anyone confirm it’s ID. Sorry, couldn’t get the pic to upload, please see below Many thanks

Ceropegia ID
Can anyone help me to identify this Ceropegia? It has twining stems, the leaves are a long heart shape, around 1.5 to 2 cm long, and the flower is about 3cm if you include the ‘antenna’. Thanks in advance!

Re: Thank you
Yes, I’ve always avoided the Opuntia group like the plague, apart from a Pterocactus tuberosus, which was given to me by a well-meaning lady. Then, this year it flowered and I am now hooked!

Re: greenhouse shading???
I use muslin (from a fabric shop), attached to the inside frame with bulldog clips. It lets in plenty of light, but protects the plants from scorching (I’m in a coastal location with sun on the greenhouse all day (when it’s not raining of course!)). Takes just a few minutes to put it up or take it d...

Re: Heliosa time
Picked up this grafted heliosa last year. This photo was taken a couple of weeks ago and there are at least as many buds forming again.

And Epithelantha gregii- so small that I didn’t see it until it was too late! Arizona Snowcap is a lovely plant, though
