Re: Updated seed lists

Indeed, you only have to look at the prices things go for on ebay, i am seeing £25 plants going for over £500, and seems to be booming every month. If you follow a few cactus sellers from Thailand etc on instagram you will see their market is huge and seems a viable business but saturated, so really...

Re: Red spider mite

Just sounds like predator mites, if it moves fast for it's size you can leave them, when the food dries up they eat each other.
If something chews on leaves it does not need to move fast, some fast movers eat or shift pollen but that is about it.

You may loose 1 from each pot as they can sometimes rot in just pumice if the watering timing is wrong or for reasons unknown. Just follow the watering rules and get to know each plant so you can...

Mark i use it in seed mixes but mostly as a top dressing in sealed tubs/bags as it makes it easy to see the seed, first i use an old coffee grinder and chop/blend the dry clay for 1-3 seconds, then run through two seives as you want to get the powder and larger bits out so you're left with 1-3mm, i ...

Re: Can you drown mealy bug? Solved

In answer no, i have tried that and held it under water for a day, same numbers of bugs come back in 24 hours and you just risk rot by soil pathogens washing in their bore holes, sure some float but most protect themselves. I would use bug clear and let the pot sit in the solution for a bit, while y...
