Re: BCSS National Plant Fair - 10-11 August 2024
The main "announcement" thread is locked, so I'll let myself ask the question here. Hopefully the right people will see it. Would it be possible to add short "resumes" of the confirmed traders, what plants they specialise in etc.? I know some names, but others are new to me, and ...

Re: Habitat-style staging
It does look good, doesn't it? But that's a planter worth 8-10 5 cm pots, and when space is a premium...
In one of the recent CW there was a great article about a similar habitat style planting across the whole greenhouse. It looked splendid on photographs.

Photologues cont. - Giza, Egypt

Re: 2nd Chinese International Cactus and Succulent Conference
Thank you Tony, I did not think about stalking Ralph so much!
I am still rather surprised that such an "international" event doesn't have a proper website.

Re: Aberdeen Duthie Park Winter Gardens
I guess as staff change, people with different interests come on board. One would think that maintaining the garden's collection is more a matter of professionalism and skills, and not necessarily personal interests of staff or management... It still does look better than many collections around, a...

A busy Easter holiday for you, Ralph!
Would you be able to link to the conference website or perhaps the Cactus Kingdom you mentioned on Google maps? My Google-fu failed me completely with both...

That might not leave the best impression Tina, but I actually do think that those cans are visually pleasing as well

Re: Haworthia retusa longibracteata CC 0127 details
Thank you Tony for the nursery link and potential RM identification! I should have linked to the database, as that's where I found the details I'm trying to decipher.
