Thank you for your comments. Tina, it was about 20cm across. The flower tube is hairless and is longer than the flower is wide . Mike. It's about 3ft tall , though it is just the middle segment of the stem , no growing point. That's why I'm keen for it to send out some new growth. It only opens only...

Flowering this morning. A lovely scent in the greenhouse.
A big cutting that flowers every year, though doesn't want to throw out any new growth. I've repotted this year so fingers crossed.

That's an interesting blog, another tree to lookout for. It reminded me of another blue berry that of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus , that has ",structural coloration" that is the production of colour by microscopically structured surfaces fine enough to interfere with visible light. https://ww...

I checked my other plant and it was infact the same name as the other one I posted earlier. Bulbine frutescens No flowers yet it's been a bit on the dry side. will put on the repot list.
