Re: SanFran S&C Society in the 21st century: "Rethinking the Genus Sansevieria" on their YouTube channel!

I have discussed with some people and there isn't the budget to pay for otter.io (Live captioning provider). The first zoom talk I attended did have live captions but that was with the ferrocactus talk and I...

Let me give you a tip, which I got from Bill Hildyard. I found this species tricky to grow until he advised me that it likes limestone. I added some to the compost and as top dressing, and my plant is now doing really well.
Thank you for this tip, I'll try and source some limestone :D

Some 1-2 month old Springbokvlakensis

Wasn't expecting such a good germination with these but looking forward to them getting older! Some are growing their third set of leaves.

Re: Updated my Cactus Flower galleries

Do you use a black backdrop or a flashgun with the sync set up so only the plant is illuminated?

Re: Grow lights

I can recommend "V-TAC 20W 2ft LED Batten Fittings Integrated Tube Lamp 6400K White" I got off Amazon, but they are not so straightforward to install - come bare wired and need the bracket fitting, but a self-adhesive cable ties and standard plugs with some electric tape work perfectly for them. Li...

Dig in the soil to see if there is still a tiny bulb. Should be small, could be hard to identify if just like with mine they are in soil mixed with small white / greyish pebbles...
Yes some of them do have tiny bulbs, that's good news?

Re: Sansevieria francisii (?) identification confirmation

Looks like the plant enjoyed the extra special treatment with the paint and is now rewarding you!
