Very successful germination rate!

After many attempts, I've never had a germination rate as good as this. Followed the bcss guide this time.

Seeds from msg and bcss forum, but most of them are lithops.
Can't wait to watch these grow.

I have moved my cacti to my granddads and wrapped them in wool, fleece and a blanket. Hopefully they survive on to next year :) At the moment they aren't getting any light, and should hopefully dry out fully soon. They have a heat mat a shelf below and I am going to buy a thermostat to make sure it ...

Thanks for your reply! I just need to work out how loam is sold in the uk... I might just do the mix that the bcss handout suggests

Re: Overwintering cacti outside tips

Just had another thought, would keeping them in an unheated, uninsulated, weather-sealed shed be ok or is that too cold?

Re: Overwintering cacti outside tips

Where do you live? You say you are able to protect from frost - does that mean you live somewhere you don't get frost or do you mean you will install some form of heating? No, I thought if they were covered, then the frost wouldn't touch them? It won't be heated and they are on a garden table with ...
