What size are they Aiko? I'd keep them inside, but watered, if they're not big.
My largest is in a half barrel and stays outside. The next largest, in a 40cm bowl, is inside but I'm planning for it stay outside from next year onwards.

Re: November 2021 - Hardy succulents and cacti
Thanks to those who posted - we seem to be going a bit quiet on here over the last few months! My winner is this Opuntia from Mike. Something that many (outside of our members perhaps) wouldn't dream could stay outside all year and get frosted like this picture shows! Nov 05 1.JPG Was hoping Paul wo...

Re: 3KW Heaters
A friend has one that looks to be the same design but a different colour and it certainly puts out plenty of heat but he only bought it at the start of last winter so no idea on longevity beyond that. The thermostat on his is rubbish but you won't need that anyway.

Re: What is this?
I have an almost identical one growing on an Aloe 'Cleopatra'. In orchid circles they happen a little more regularly, especially on some Phalaenopsis and Dendrobium. On orchids they're called keiki which is Hawaiian for child. I'm hoping I can leave mine in situ for as long as possible to let it gro...

Re: Good news/bad news
Thanks for the photos Mike. I'm sure I've read that the bottom flowers don't seem to take as easily from self-pollination but the ones further up do so don't lose hope yet! The theory being that the plant is trying to get an outcross at first and then being more willing to accept any old pollen near...

That's lovely Ralph. The two colours there really stand out to my colour blind eyes!

Re: Don't forget the On-Line talk on tuesday
I add mine to my phone diary once I read it in the monthly BCSS email. However I still sometimes miss them as the reminder is only set for 15 minutes in advance and I'm often getting small children to sleep! I need to set a pre-reminder an hour or so earlier as well!!!

Re: Schlumbergera 'Samba Brazil'
Thanks to one of my kids being poorly it took a day longer to get an updated photo but here they are. Once it finishes flower...

Re: Schlumbergera 'Samba Brazil'
I'd say so Mike. It's a bit bluer in real life than in my photo and the stem segments tend to go quite red too in good light. I got mine from a garden centre, it wasn't from a specialist supplier.
