Re: Total noob: pachypodium, help
If temperatures are 20c day 15ç night. I would give I a small drink . It really depends on what kind of medium it is growing in. Mine loose there leaves over winter and are kept at lower temp than above. I give them an occasional water on fine days. You can tell when they need it by giving the stem ...

Re: Guess the crest/cristate
No prize for guessing this one. I think it started out as a ring cristata. Any white bits are left over polystyrene I've been using to hold it open. I was hoping it would end up looking like an american baseball glove.

Re: An example of a common pest
There is always something wanting to eat our plants. I think 🤔 that cat is asking for walkies. Their was a lady on tv who had a huge collection of hostas, she was using a clove of garlic and boiling it in a small pan then adding it to her watering cans. To deter the slugs. I'm not sure it would work...

Vellozia gigantea
Hello
Does anyone have any idea if any of the larger Vellozia or it's cousins are in cultivation. I am aware of Xerophyta and have seen it for sale a couple of times.
I'm interested in any information of plants, or where to find seeds. Many thanks
