i love the Quebradada de Toro, is a very interesting Spot if you go away from the "Main-Street".
The pink Tillandsia is T. argentina

the first one is a Tunilla soehrensii.
The Ritter s Name for it is Platyopuntia ianthinantha.

On the West-side of the Famatina Mountains are this Types of Tunilla also widespraed, flowered from red to orange to yellow.

The red flowering Plants are Cumulopuntia ignescens.
The small one is Maihueniopsis conoidea aka M.glomerata sensu lato.
and the other small one with round with Spines are a Maihueniopsis camachoi.

@ Bill G I think the mess between and inner the Pterocactus Group is the extremly geographic Distance in where they live`s.I see of a distance of ca.500Km very different Forms of valentinii and fischeri . Particulate on the same Spot! And of course Pt.auraucanus is also a hickenii or skottsbergii. C...
