The choice of Rebutia cintia was perhaps not the best. There is already a Rebutia knizei (part of the R. pygmaea group) and, as you say, there is a R. cinitensis which Hunt et al. refer to R. fiebrigii. The inclusion of Weingartia brings a Weingartia cintiensis which they reduce to Rebutia fidana ss...

There must be lots of buds forming if you look closely low down on the sides - little bundles of fluff.

That book was rather a while ago wasn't it?

It was in their advert in the journal (I been through this puzzle today - searching their website, searching the posts on here because I thought someone had mentioned it). The ad also says visitors by appointment, but it's a safe bet that tomorrow will be busy. I haven't been for about 13 years but ...

[/quote]Yes, he does do mail order see here. He only had 2 sp on last year's list, although I think this year's list is imminent.
