Re: Tesco's Cat Litter again...compared with Akadama
Interesting guide to cat litter, but the original question was reguards to how it compares to akadama. :shrugs: We all know that akadama is much more expensive but what about performance. Any thoughts or techinal info? I use both but find the cat litter tends to move about a bit and if used in great...

Re: My new greenhouse
Having to have a rethink myself. Was hoping to move my 6x8 and add a 17x12 or there abouts. Now the wife has sussed out the space it would take from her garden and put a block on in! I'm now desperately trying to fit in a 10x8 next to the original one but its gonna be tough fitting it in.

Re: Used greenhouse for sale?
Thanks for all your advice. I don't always have a chance to sit and spend much time on the net as I have 2 kids at Uni and they tend to monopolize the P.C. Hence sometimes the bargains go begging.

Used greenhouse for sale?
I am getting desperate for space now with so many plants in my 6x8 that the three levels of shelving and a large section of the floor is now covered with plants. Most of them are squashed too close together to look their best and to be properly appreciated.(td) I have finally managed to persuade my ...

Re: Dont be shy
This is me with a Weberbauerocereus johnsonii that I got for £1 at an auction this year. OK so it's a bit worse for wear but nobody else wanted the poor thing and I felt sorry for it
Had great fun trying to transport it home in the car without decapitating it!

bcss lending library?
Does the Society have a lending library that the members can use? Also, I know most if not all of the branches have a library, is there any way apart from actually going to a branch meeting, of lending books from other branches, maybe via the post if the lender paid for the package to be sent and re...

Great to hear the bef is available again. Will you have any other sizes or shapes ready for next year? I am particulary after the 4inch square half pot.

Re: Lea Valley Auction
I spent the princely sum of £10 on 4 plants that nobody or few people were interested in. I knew I couldn't compete with some of the buyers there, and to be honest, being a bit of a newbie, would have been scared stiff to take on the responsibility of such well grown mature plants. If I'm going to ki...
