Re: Germinating Tephrocactus
Excellent Trevor.
I have kept the pots of last years seed and will see if it germinates this year. Does anyone know the source of the small opuntia seed which was on the societies list last year?

Tunicata. By miles.
Leaning forward to inspect a plant next to and getting that slight peripheral view of something, slightly too late as it emdeds itself in your temple....and then your hand as you reach out to brush it away....
I still grow one despite it being the most spiteful thing.....

Re: A trip to Lakerveld
Nice collection but I must say find the grafted plants are pretty ugly on the whole.
I'm sure the Lophophoras are verrrry popular in Amsterdam. (well until they close down all the specialist shops anyway.....

Re: Mystery plant
Thanks Rogan. Good pointers - not actually able to pin it down exactly as none of the ones I photographed have the flowers fully open. http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/files/Rhodophiala/Rhodophiala_sp_OB.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/Rhodophiala&usg=_...
