Re: Copiapoa Tenuissima

Its definitely very nice plant! Although all copiapoa intimidate me, I'm trying to save gigantea but not sure how is it going to go...

I had tenuissima burst into bouquet there about a month ago, pretty fascinating must say 😊

Small spots on tephrocactus geometricus

Hey guys, So I made sure that this one was overwintered as dry as possible, no water, further away from humidity of the windowsill. However over last couple of months I'm noticing blackish spots, I'm afraid of rot. One cladode is strong and firm, while the one that I am concerned about much softer a...

Re: Greenhouse shading

I realised that I don't have any new photos of my greenhouse, just the ones from gloomy dark November and February snow πŸ˜³πŸ˜… I'm not too worried about mihanovichii, although I do miss the green tint. I'm a little worried about other ones who are coloured in brick color. I realised that again I didn't ...

Greenhouse shading

Hey all! Hope you are well and safe!! So my partner built me a greenhouse back in November and I brought majority of my cacti there in March. I've started noticing that a lot of my gymnocalycium got sun stressed, all mihanovichii tanned themselves in brick red and some other gymnos are quite reddish...

Re: Turbinicarpus Schwartzii

Yeah, the spines are particularly gnarly at the bottom, I nearly wanted to pot it up a little higher so they could be more on display πŸ˜…

Re: Habitat plants on ebay

I skimmed through his listings. He seems to be selling them from his own land.. I'm not sure what laws are in America about digging up cacti from your own land.. it sad state of affairs though, if it was my land and my cacti I'd leave it be, on a bright side, prices are so high that he's more than l...

Turbinicarpus Schwartzii

Just wanted to show off my newest addition, got this as a birthday present from my partner ( I'm blessed with his patience). Even though he is cursing at my never ending prancing around cacti and rolling the eyes when I'm speaking about growth rates, flowers and pests, he still managed to muster this...
