Neoraimondea herzogiana from cuttings?
So a fellow I know has a large one of these plants and it’s producing an offset thaw currently maybe 1 3/4” in diameter. He’s tried rooting cuttings in the past from this plant and has had no luck. Debating on trying with this new growth in spring. Is it doable? Suggestions on how? Or is this like t...

So I visited a fellow garden today and he had this one. I’m struggling to ID it... columnar, big spines.. hmm..
If I can get an ID I’m gunna try and get one, quite like how it looks

I'm going to need a tin hat after saying this, but I don't think any cactus are particularly attractive out of flower! Some are less ugly than others but it's all about the flowers for me. Succulents on the other hand, I'm generally not fussed about the flowers but like the form, shape and colours ...

I boil the whole pot of soil with a lot of water in it on the stove. Then I put that in puts in the baggy. Seal it and then the next day I put the seeds in. Sometimes get algae, yet to get mould.
