Terry I got halfway through a post last night and never completed it, sorry! As Diane said, definitely an Aeonium but as well as ciliatum, it looks a bit like some young davidbramwellii plants I have here so it could be them or some other tree-like species like one of the arboreum subspecies instea...

Sounds like irritant rather than bacterial or fungal if it's intermittent. I'd try potting outdoors to rule those "in" or "out". For a soother try a freshly used but cooled teabag left on the eye for about 10 minutes. A slice of cucumber is another solution. I'm told both have an...

The Gasteria does look like the Little Warty I purchased last year including similar compost, but yours does look much more abused than mine.
