My opinion, fwiw, is that your plants is too big and solitary for a versch. and is a potatorum.

Or maybe consider a polytunnel? They are cheap but effective, especially if it is only a temporary measure.

Yes - just. I planted it this year, one of a few old plants I re-homed earlier in the season. Its in the 'new bit' so planted in rubble.
