Re: Brexit deal and imports

Has anyone gleaned any further information on this subject ? I freely admit I'm still confused by the whole process. I understand the need for a phyto but can't understand why plants will still be subject to an inspection and therefore a fee charged once they hit the UK as my understanding of the p...

Re: Some 1-2 month old Springbokvlakensis

I was never a huge Haworthia fan, but I have taken to them a little recently.

Here are the survivors of my sowing April 2019 of Haworthia springbokvlakensis (Haworthia Soc seed).

No doubt I am doing it all wrong for best cultivation, but they seem healthy at least.

Re: BCSS seed distribution

Well, I dreamed I saw the silver spaceships flying In the yellow haze of the sun There were children crying and colors flying All around the chosen ones All in a dream, all in a dream The loading had begun Flyin' mother nature's silver seed To a new home in the sun Flyin' mother nature's silver seed...

Re: BCSS seed distribution

What's the delivery time on the seed distribution? I ordered some time before Christmas. Not complaining, just wondering. I would contact the seed distributor and ask about your order, it shouldn't have taken this long. The only time I did not have a VERY prompt return of seed was a couple of years...

The only figures I can find for you are by extrapolation of data attached to the Feb 2020 BOT minutes which I happen to have to hand. Approx. numbers for 2019 members are: FULL ...

Re: Conophytum 'Foggy Dew'

Hi Ragamala, Not sure on the point you are making.......................... Many thanks for the reply. I wasn't actually making any point, just trying to seek info in case there was one to be made! To explain - I was wondering about BCSS membership to see how many took advantage of the seed offer. ...

Re: Conophytum 'Foggy Dew'

The seed distributor has dealt with approximate 600 orders this year, as stated above during the xmas and new year festive period. The orders this year have been dealt with in a very timely manner. This is a large job for a volunteer. Absolutely. But colser are you aware of the BCSS membership figu...
