Re: Mycorrhizal fungi
Wondered if anyone had an update from using mycorrhizal fungi? I have just bought some TNC MycorrHydro for my orchids and have added it to my Agave and Aloe polyphylla seedlings. I'm wondering if it is worth adding to my Aeonium now and then my cacti and other succulents when I start watering in spr...

Re: Agave talk & pictures
I used one bought fro Amazon over my polyphylla last year after seeing Paul's clever use of them. Think it was about £3-4 from Amazon which was the cheapest I could find online last year. I cut the curved handle off leaving a straight plastic section but still struggled to get it located over the po...

Re: Lithops getting ready to flower?
Thanks Catherine. My office has a full glass roof so they're getting as much light as possible without adding artificial light. They haven't had water for a couple of months now and won't be getting any more until the new heads are fully through. If the 'Laterita' is being a bit stubborn I will get ...

Re: Lithops getting ready to flower?
Nice flower! This is the bowl today, PXL_20211216_105435434.jpg There are three karasmontana in there. The first one I pictured on this thread with the additional leaves was the one labelled as straight karasmontana (centre right on the photo above). The one labelled eberlanzii has behaved itself so...

Re: Lithops getting ready to flower?
I'll take some better pictures later of the bowl and full shot. I have got plenty of 2 year old plants I could add to it!

Re: Lithops getting ready to flower?
Thanks Catherine. The size of the bowl must be retaining too much water as they have never had any water from early November until the new leaves are through. I am debating about repotting them this year into a much better draining mix. These are potted into the mix sold by Abbey Brook when I purcha...

Re: Lithops getting ready to flower?
Catherine, I'm sorry I think you are right about it being a different plant! I have just looked back through my photos and think the one I first posted is labelled as an eberlanzii, not Laterita. I'll check at school tomorrow and take a photo of the whole bowl.

Re: Lithops getting ready to flower?
Thanks for replying Catherine. It's definitely the same plant. The leaves there now are the ones that were just coming through in the photo before. It produced those and then another set last year. In my office it is rather warm and bright so I assume the heat at this time of year is the fundamental...
