Someone recently indicated columnar plants may be going a bit out of fashion. There are very few in ny possession but I have taken this one on.
Last minute decision! Will go into greenhouse tomorrow, hopefully.

I'll get that in my diary. If I continue on my current role and roster it will be a long weekend off for me :) Plus the Bradford branch show should have been on by then. Only problem will be working out transporting plants safely for a 180 mile trip down there!

I couldn't seem to regain access to my old forum user account, but I have re-registered now.
The Aloe in question, photo attached.
It is just over 31 centimetres high from the pot dressing and about 27 cms across.

Seems the above is now clearly eschewing solemness of manner, i.e. 'gravitas' so in the style of Milton it seems "Gravitas Lost" has relevance.
