Oh no, come back bug! I put it in the garden, cheers for letting me know though Paul. I have heard Vine Weevils are bad but wouldn’t recognise one if I saw one

Good or bad bug?
Spotted this little beetle/bug doing a few lengths in my pothos plant water. Just wondered if it might be a bad bug for the succulent plants near it?

Does anyone remember in one of the recent talks, it may have been the one about Brazil, there was a cactus that grew like a globe but when it matured a bit it’s growth became thinner? Kind of like it began etiolating but it’s just how it is.

I noticed the other day that I’ve got a mammillaria carmenae that has developed a similar white coating. I don’t know when it happened, it used to be green after checking old photos. CactusCat, from my experience akadama is heavier, holds more water, is softer so roots can go through it, this means it can break down a bit over time, it can also break down if it’s outside in cold temperatures but it’s ok indoors. Akadama is easier to tell when it’s wet because it changes colour. ...
