Re: Habitat-style staging

It does look good, doesn't it? But that's a planter worth 8-10 5 cm pots, and when space is a premium...

Photologues cont. - Giza, Egypt

Taking an example from Ralph's recent photologue, I recently visited the Giza pyramid complex and found a few quite succulent plants (+ 1 grass...) that might be of some interest to the forum. I am not so sure about the identity of a few, so all comments are welcome. Apologies for the neck stretchin...

Re: 2nd Chinese International Cactus and Succulent Conference

Thank you Tony, I did not think about stalking Ralph so much!

I am still rather surprised that such an "international" event doesn't have a proper website.

Re: Aberdeen Duthie Park Winter Gardens

I guess as staff change, people with different interests come on board. One would think that maintaining the garden's collection is more a matter of professionalism and skills, and not necessarily personal interests of staff or management... It still does look better than many collections around, a...

Re: 2nd Chinese International Cactus and Succulent Conference

A busy Easter holiday for you, Ralph!

Would you be able to link to the conference website or perhaps the Cactus Kingdom you mentioned on Google maps? My Google-fu failed me completely with both...

I just bought this in the friendly local M&S, any hints into what they are?

Thank you Tony for the nursery link and potential RM identification! I should have linked to the database, as that's where I found the details I'm trying to decipher.

Haworthia retusa longibracteata CC 0127 details

I am in a need of a helpful hand with deciphering details of a Joyce Cocozza Haworthia retusa longibracteata CC 0127 (ex RM A142 ex Sheilams). Who's RM, and what is Sheilams? The internet was greatly disappointing...
