I use the same as Tina. It is as mentioned especially good for some euphorbias and caudiciforms/tricky plants or any that dislike sitting in damp compost. Gymno mav. On own roots must have some chlorophyll.
Also Copiapoa .. euphorbia enlopa . And Neoporteria with lovely purple epidermis, their where lots of these for sale last summer, I was very pleased when I spotted this one.

The flowers smell very sweet.it really needed a brush before pic, it's on the top shelf so I was reaching with the phone. I think I've read somewhere that there is a red flowerd var. Would love to have that one.
