Joel - you should have mentioned your Aloe striatula - if you cut the main stem of a straggler you will get multiple branches developing (and you can easily root the top, too) Generally when they are sold the nurserymen do this to get a bushy, multi-headed plant plus, after a few years growth outsid...

Just as an aside - how do you get on the list? I have been doing talks for years for clubs/organisations but have yet to 'break into' the BCSS.

Ian - they never made it that far, I have always somehow managed to kill them before they got outside. Nop idea what I have done wrong but it is twice now.
