Alternatively, if anybody has any surplus they would be willing to sell/trade for plants, please drop...

Gladulicactus flowers
One of my favourite species - great spines, colour of the plant and amazingly coloured flowers. The only regret is that the flowers are not larger.

Where did you get these from Mike?Herts Mike wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 1:50 pm Last year I acquired seed of Aloes albida and modesta but no germination. I dried them out and I’ve just watered them again with smoke water and put them into the propagator. Not confident anything will happen but you never know.

The 1970 edition has a separate plate with A. striatula, but in black and white. I would be surprised, if previous editions had different plates in colour, but you never know.

Re: Begonia dregei
Hi, In my experience these are very tolerant plants. You can carry on giving them water all year round, as long as you keep them in a reasonable warmth - I am mean frost free plus few degrees on a top of that. Or on a window sill, where they will be very happy as well. In nature they tend to grow in...

Re: Aloe haworthioides?
Mike, if you are serious about binning it, I am happy to give it a home. And if you are after the true A. haworthioides, I could check if my plant has got any big enough offsets I could removed.
