I am in a need of a helpful hand with deciphering details of a Joyce Cocozza Haworthia retusa longibracteata CC 0127 (ex RM A142 ex Sheilams). Who's RM, and what is Sheilams? The internet was greatly disappointing...

Re: Seed raising compost

From other threads on the forum I picked up that Chempak feeds have all what's needed for inorganic substrates, so should work with moler clay. As a side note, I'd be very careful with using moler clay on its own, when it dries it seems to suck out moisture off everything around, including plant roo...

Re: Handmade Plant Pots

I remember seeing a topic on that somewhere around, but anyway I would go to a bonsai themed exhibition or competition near you, it's probably your best bet. The majority of pots might be wide and shallow, but taller are also available.

gerald wrote: Fri Mar 08, 2024 1:32 pm It will work - over time - but why not just ensure your potting mix is the correct pH to start with?
Because there seems to be no low pH, low or inorganic (and ideally peat free) available in retail.

Now we can no longer easily get hold of Michael Kiessling’s interesting plants I was wondering if anyone was interested in establishing who has which ones and who is willing to swap cuttings. Out of curiosity mostly, but how would one purchase these plants earlier? I cannot find MK's nursery page o...
