Re: MSG journal and seed list

Hi All

As someone who has never managed to raise a Cono or Lithop from seed, how about some propagation tips.

I have looked at the list & they have C.burgeri & Ratum, which are on my wish list:D

Re: Moving house

HI Ali

You will need crates for moving the plants, I shop at the back of our local butchers ( I ask them first) as they have loads of them.
You do have to give them a wash from the sawdust etc, ideal for when I put plants in a show & then I just return them after.

Wow !!

It will get out of the bag on it's own then.
Pelecyphora germination looks good, you are doing well.

Re: Cactus & Co

I had queried with Colin if the new journal was out as last yr's Pediocactus seed had FANTASTIC germination without any special pre treatment.

I thought we had only had 2 issues so far for 2007 ?

Re: mail order plants in winter

Hi Patrick Have you checked if they will reserve them, after just having problems with missing parcels (22 days) which resulted in the loss of 4 plants so far I would say wait a little longer if you can. Mine were succulents so aren't as robust as cacti, also check if they are grafted, that they are...
